We raise three types of large macaws: The Blue and Gold, Greenwing and
Scarlet. Macaws are fun loving and energetic. They are very loving and enjoy
being part of a family. With proper socialization and handling they make
wonderful pets. They are pretty good talkers and can be loud. They require a
large cage, at least 40 inches wide by 6 feet tall with lots of toys.
